The Dean Bret Michaels Electric Guitar features a mahogany body with a 24-3/4" scale set mahogany neck. The Z body style is balanced and comfortable and provides complete access to the fast 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. It's fitted with custom designed hi-output Dean USA DMT "Time Capsule" pickups and the string-thru-body design gives added sustain. Other amenities on this Dean guitar include a Tune-O-Matic bridge, Grover tuners, and black hardware.

Time Capsule Pickup
The Time Capsule series of pickups is what Dean currently uses in their original TC series guitars. This neck position pickup on the Bret Michaels Z guitar captures the biting tones of the vintage Dean instruments produced from 1977 to 1986 with very strong lows and mids creating the tone that was used to record multiple platinum albums during this era.
